Victoria Jennings

Victoria Jennings, 70 of Bloomington passed away Saturday April 21, 2018 at her residence, surrounded by her loved ones after a courageous battle with cancer. 

There will be a visitation Friday April 27, 2018 from 3-6 p.m. at Beck Memorial Home. There will be a memorial service for Victoria on Saturday April 28, 2018 at 10 a.m. at Beck Memorial Home in Bloomington. Pastor Mike Stipp will officiate. Interment will be at East Lawn Memorial Gardens in Bloomington.

Victoria was born September 3, 1947 in Bloomington to James and Villa McCombs Daugherty. They preceded her in death. She married James Jennings September 2, 1966 he survives. She is survived by one daughter Dee Jennings Sylvester of Bloomington, one sister Kay (Joe) Babb of Bloomington, two grandchildren Brandon (Ashley) Daugherty of Bloomington and Jeremy (Heidi) Schulz of Chenoa and six great grandchildren, a longtime family friend David Arnold and her beloved dog Coco. She was preceded in death by her parents, one son Michael Daugherty, one daughter Susan Jennings, one brother, three sisters, two granddaughters, one grandson, and one great-grandson. 

Victoria worked in management for Eureka-Williams Co. for over thirty-three years. She retired in 1999. She was a woman of strong faith and a very selfless and giving person. Vicki was the kindest and gentlest person you could ever know, and anyone that knew her truly knew she was the Best Mom Ever! Her children and grandchildren meant everything to her. She loved working in her yard with her flowers and reading.
